My approach

Today's world can be stressful, overwhelming, and exhausting. Life is like a rollercoaster ride, from high school to marriage; it can be challenging to navigate. Seeking therapy can be intimidating, and I understand that. I am honored to support you in exploring your inner world. My initial focus is on building a safe and nurturing relationship that allows you to feel comfortable. I believe in working with you and accepting you for who you are in terms of your identity and beliefs. I provide a judgment-free environment where we can work towards acceptance and support for you. I use a person-centered approach, encouraging and empowering you to direct our sessions. However, your needs are my top priority, and I may incorporate various approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based techniques, attachment-focused methods, and trauma-informed care. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, women's issues, or relational conflicts, we can explore your experiences and emotions that affect your daily life. I believe in a therapeutic relationship based on collaboration, support, and nurturing. Together, we will build on your strengths and experiences to help repair past wounds and manage overwhelming emotions.

Understanding how past hurts impact your present self allows you to show up for yourself. As Brené Brown once said, "Owning our story can be hard, but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it."

Gentle Reminder

Feeling loss of identity and stuck in daily tasks does not make you weak minded. You are capable and stronger more than you know.

Providing you with a safe space

All appointments will take place either in your home on a computer, tablet, mobile device or an inviting office space.

“no recovery from trauma is possible without attending to issues of safety, care for the self, reparative connections to other human beings, and a renewed faith in the universe. The therapist's job is not just to be a witness to this process but to teach the patient how.”
